    Professional Background

    Dr. Din has over 35 years of experience providing exceptional cardiovascular care to patients. He started in private practice in the U.S. after completing a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Hartford Hospital at the University of Connecticut. Prior to this, Dr. Din completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center, affiliated with the Salem VA Medical Center’s hospital administrator. During this period, he completed 28 months of clinical training with an emphasis in cardiac cath and clinical consultative cardiology, along with extensive exposure to non-invasive cardiovascular imaging; and an eight-month research fellowship in a small animal laboratory focusing on vascular response to injury and restenosis after balloon angioplasty,

    Dr. Din’s additional extensive training includes a residency and internship in internal medicine through leading institutions in Boston and Pittsburgh. His medical training in Pakistan includes a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery degree from the University of Karachi and an internship in medicine and general surgery as well as a resident medical office and cardiology at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center in Karachi.
